“Nurturing Tree” Springs to Life with Artist Judith Modrak
Join us for a special afternoon at Stuyvesant Square Park as sculptor Judith Modrak, recipient of the SPNA Peace Prize, shares the inspiration behind her “Nurturing Tree” sculpture and leads a hands-on community workshop.

📍 Location: West side of Stuyvesant Square Park, near the fountain and picnic tables
The event begins with a short artist talk, followed by a participatory workshop where attendees of all ages can create their own sculptural “trees.” This hands-on experience blends art and botany, encouraging a deeper connection to the natural world.
All materials are provided—come ready to make some trees!
